My name is Catherine Branwood. I am The Admin Angel.
I fell in love with Western North Carolina while visiting from SWFL. I love the gentle vibe and genuine, kind and hardworking people. Then I closed on my little dream home in the mountains here only a few weeks before Storm Helene.

I was shocked by the timing but I held a positive belief that I must have been drawn to move here in this unprecedented time for a good reason. I knew I was here to stay, and set intention to use my knowledge, skills and services to support local small business and non profits, to recover, rebuild, and grow even stronger during this new chapter for this area.

My Story
I was once proud to be titled "The Wanderer" by a high end SWFL magazine, in an article talking about my Art Business, Artful Alternatives (founded in 2018). It is true that I fearlessly follow my heart and trust where it takes me. I am originally British, which is where I qualified in Business Management and Law. I have since wandered to 3 countries and 5 states here in the US. It might be something about getting grounded by these beautiful mountains but I finally feel like my wandering roots may have landed permanently here in Western North Carolina. I hope so!

I don't love labels but I consider myself equally to be an artist, poet, photographer, lawyer, restaurant manager, college administrator, scuba diving instructor, non profit manager, construction company bookkeeper, creative teacher and business owner. These are not just things I have loved doing in my life and still do. Now, these are the experiences which bring me to here and now and The Admin Angel.

I am a unique, efficient little package of the skills, experience and knowledge from all the roles I have fully invested my time and energy into. I bring all that and myself (complete with British accent) here to Western North Carolina.
